Director Princeton facility
Dean Pinciotti, PT, is a graduate of New York
University's PT program and has over 26 years of clinical
experience in the field of physical therapy. He is the
President of Sports Physical Therapy Institute (SPTI), a private
practice with 3 locations in central NJ, and serves as Clinic
Director of the Princeton location. Over the years, Dean has
treated professional, Olympic, amateur and high school athletes,
and has traveled with the US National Rowing Team. He has
worked with the NJ Devils hockey team, the NJ Nets of the NBA and
has been providing therapy services to the US National Rowing team
for over 10 years in SPTI Princeton. His extensive work with
athletes of all levels has led him to specialize in orthopedic and
sports-related injuries of the knee and shoulder, utilizing manual
therapy and PNF as the cornerstone for treatment. In addition
to owning a business and treating patients on a weekly basis, Dean
has published articles on evaluative and rehabilitative techniques
with a manual and functional approach. He also guest lectures
at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Medical School in New
Brunswick, NJ, the APTANJ, the Athletic Trainers Society of New
Jersey, various Sports Medicine conferences, as well as local
community venues. Recently, Dean began presenting a two
day continuing education course on evidence-based knee ligament
rehabilitation for physical therapists.

Director Somerset facility
Jeffrey Erickson, PT, MPT graduated with honors from Hahnemann
University's physical therapy Masters program and has worked in
out-patient physical therapy for over 18 years. Jeff is Vice
President of Sports Physical Therapy Institute and Clinical
Director at Saint Peter's University Hospital's out-patient
facility. Clinically, Jeff has focused on sports and
orthopedic rehabilitation with a manual-based approach and has
utilized his skills to treat a variety of athletes including
professional, Olympic, amateur and high school athletes, as well as
the general population. He has extended his knowledge to his
professional peers lecturing on rehabilitative care for patients
with cardiac, upper/lower extremity and spinal disorders. Most
recently, Jeff has developed a two day continuing education course
entitled "Evaluation and Treatment Techniques for the Dysfunctional
Shoulder Complex" as part of the SPTI Continuing Education Series.
Jeff is an active member of the private practice and sports
physical therapy sections of the American Physical Therapy
Association and has sat on the State Board of Physical Therapy
Examiners in New Jersey.
