Dean Pinciotti, PT, is a graduate of New York
University's PT program and has over 26 years of clinical
experience in the field of physical therapy. He is the
President of Sports Physical Therapy Institute (SPTI), a private
practice with 3 locations in central NJ, and serves as Clinic

athletes of all levels has led him to specialize in orthopedic and
sports-related injuries of the knee and shoulder, utilizing manual
therapy and PNF as the cornerstone for treatment. In addition
to owning a business and treating patients on a weekly basis, Dean
has published articles on evaluative and rehabilitative techniques
with a manual and functional approach. He also guest lectures
at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Medical School in New
Brunswick, NJ, the APTANJ, the Athletic Trainers Society of New
Jersey, various Sports Medicine conferences, as well as local
community venues. Recently, Dean began presenting a two
day continuing education course on evidence-based knee ligament
rehabilitation for physical therapists.

Assistant Director, Princeton
Steve holds an undergraduate degree from the University of
Richmond and completed his Masters of Physical Therapy (MPT) at
Temple University. Steve became interested in the field of physical
therapy while playing professional beach volleyball. He
experiened numerous shoulder injuries which landed him in physical
therapy plenty of times and decided becoming a PT would
be the next step for him. Steve has now worked in an
outpatient clinical settnig for seven years. His interest in
hip and knee rehabilitation was fostered by three years working at
an in-patient setting which has transfered well to the out-patient
setting at Sports PTI. Steve has had additional training in
Mulligan concept, McKenzie technique, Maitland and he utilizes PNF,
joint mobilizations, and soft tissue techniques in his treatment
plans.

Staff Therapist/Official PT for US National Rowing Team
Marc brings nearly twenty years of experience to SPTI, receiving
his BA in Biology from LaSalle University, and his MSPT from
Arcadia University. He has extended his skills to outpatient,
corporate, school, and athletic department settings. He is
also the Therapy Provider for the US National Rowing Team and
travels with the team to such events as World Championships and the
Olympics. Clinically, Marc approaches physical therapy using
PNF; muscle energy techniques; mobilizations such as McKenzie,
Maitland, and Norwegian training techniques; Swiss Ball
stabilization; and functional exercises.

Staff Therapist
Bill brings an array of experience to Sports PT. He is a
graduate of Rutgers University and earned is Masters in Physical
Therapy from Baylor University through the U.S. Army. Bill
recently received his Doctorate of PT from Regis University.
He earned the prestigious specialization, Orthopedic Clinical
Specialist (OCS) in 2002, along with a Fellowship in Manual Therapy
through Regis University. Bill is currently a full time faculty
member of Temple University's Physical Therapy Program, where he
teaches a variety of classes. Bill emphasizes manual therapy
including joint mobilization, manipulation, muscle energy, muscle
stretching and soft tissue techniques. He is particularly
interested in the rehabilitation of the spine and is an active
member of the Orthopedic Section of the APTA.

Staff Therapist
Matt is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry
of NJ (UMDNJ) earning a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). During
his undergraduate years at The College of NJ, Matt's interest in
sports and rehabilitation grew. Playing soccer almost his entire
life, Matt has had his fair share of injuries which helped to spark
his interest in helping others get back to their sports as quickly
as possible. Matt has experience in a wide array of disciplines,
including rehabilitation of total joint replacements, acute
stroke victims and pre-prosthetic/prosthetic training for
amputees. He utilizes manual techniques and therapeutic
exercise to treat the shoulder, knee, ankle/foot, and spine. Matt
has introduced an on-site (Princeton facility) sports conditioning
program and is also conducting the prevent injury enhance
performance (PEP) program to local sports teams.

Staff Therapist
Lindsey earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the
University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (UMDNJ) and her
Bachelor's degree from Rowan University where she studied Health
and Exercise Science, specializing in athetic training. Based on
her schooling, Lindsey has quite an extensive background in the
rehabilitation of different dysfunctions. Now that she is
practicing as a full-time physical therapist, she relies heavily on
her manual skills including McKenzie techniques. She is an active
member of the American Physical Therapy Association and in her free
time enjoys spending time with her new husband.

Staff Therapist
Steve Fong, PT, DPT is a no stranger to Sports Physical Therapy.
After graduating from Rutgers University with a BS in Exercise
Science and Sports Studies, he was the Senior Physical Therapy at
the Somerset location for 7 years before going to Mercy College to
earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Since then he has
developed skills in the fields of neurological pediatrics,
inpatient rehab and chronic pain, as well as outpatient
rehabilitation. Steve became interested in the field of PT because
he wanted to work with sports related injuries. With
time, his interest has blossomed into a passion for
the study of human anatomy and kinesiology, a love for the
skill/art of clinical decision making, and an appreciation for the
impact that PT's can have on an individual's life. Steve's
approach to physical therapy includes McKenzie approach to spine
evaluation, Mobilization with Movement, Maitland, PNF, and NDT. Now
that he is again a part of the SPTI team, he hopes to begin
working on a sports enhancement program and a running program, as
well as obtain his OCS (Orthopedic Clinical Specialist)
certification. When he is not working at SPTI Princeton, he
enjoys running, going to the gym, and spending time with his dog, a
Shiba Inu, named Brian Griffin Fong.

Staff Therapist
Kaitlin Jackson, PT, DPT graduated from the Doctorate of
Physical Therapy (DPT) program at the University of
Pittsburgh. An avid athlete all her life, deciding on a career in
physical therapy was an easy decision. Kaity has spent
plenty of time in PT, and thought it was interesting how with the
correct combination of manual techniques, exercise prescription,
and patient education, you can help return a patient to or
exceed their previous functional level. Kaity has focused primarily
on outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, including
post-concussion rehab, but also has some experience with inpatient
and vestibular rehabilitation. Now that she is a part of the SPTI
team, she will continue to focus on the manual techniques she has
always valued, including joint mobilization and manipulation, as
well as soft tissue techniques. She would also like to become
a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) to compliment her sports-trained
background. Kaity is no stranger to the sports competition world;
she rowed on the University of Notre Dame Varsity Rowing Team
who won the Big East Championships from 2005-2008. Now in her spare
time she continues to row, play softball, swim, cycle, run,
compete in triathlons and she is even training for
her first half ironman!
